The new LED-UV technology is an unrivalled environment-friendly solution for offset printing. It offers many advantages compared to UV printing. There are no waiting times when switching on or off the lamps. Ozone does not occur anymore, thus evacuation blowers or exhaust hoses redundant. Another advantage is the possibility to save up to 80% energy compared to conventional UV-driers. Furthermore the development of heat in the machine and on the substrate will be reduced, thus the chance of deformation of substrate will be minimized.
According to the new LED-UV technology Jänecke+Schneemann has developed a new innovative ink system.
